Overview

Wireless Connectivity (WiCon) Americas is THE one stop shop for wireless connectivity solutions in the US. It's the ONLY high-level conference and exhibition to address leading wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, NFC, UWB, Wi-Fi, WiMax and ZigBee and the huge potential of the wireless networking applications they enable.

The high-level conference will focus on the convergence and co-existence of these technologies and their integration into mobile and computing devices. In addition the show will highlight some of the real life applications of these technologies in key vertical markets.

The exhibition is THE largest showcase of wireless solutions for the enterprise, consumer, medical, automotive and wireless automation sectors in the US. This is the place to see and understand for yourself how wireless connectivity can make a difference to your products, business and lifestyle. The free to attend exhibition offers additional seminar programs and a feature packed show floor.

ALL the key associations, forums and alliances in the wicon space support this show. Hear what they have to say and why they feel WiCon Americas is a must attend for anybody working in this arena!

Mike FoleyBluetooth"The Bluetooth SIG and its membership have participated in Wireless Connectivity shows from the beginning and believe they are much-needed events where visionary ideas and products can be shared and showcased. The eventís shift from a Bluetooth technology only focus to one that encompasses all wireless technologies outside of cellular is very much in line with the convergent trend in the wireless industry. It has become clear that devices will contain multiple wireless technologies and having a forum where different wireless groups and experts can come together under one roof to share and collaborate helps to ensure that we create the best devices utilizing the strengths of all available technologies."
Mike Foley, Executive Director, Bluetooth SIG

Stephen R WoodWiMedia"The wireless technology industry is delivering valuable solutions designed to reshape the way consumers lead their digital lives. The WiMedia Alliance values events such as these Wireless Connectivity shows, where visionaries and engineers together educate the industry about the world of technologies and possibilities they bring to businesses and people. We look forward to providing fellow attendees with the latest ultra wideband knowledge at WiCon Americas 2005."
Stephen R.Wood, President, WiMedia Alliance

Frank HanzlikWi-Fi Alliance"The Wi-Fi Alliance and its membership of more than 200 companies fully support all 3 shows in the Wireless Connectivity Series. Since the introduction of the WiFi Alliance’s certification program in March 2000, over 2000 products have been designated as Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ and the WiCon shows offer an extremely well targeted platform for demonstrating the technology and devices."
Frank Hanzlik, Managing Director, Wi-Fi Alliance

Mike McCamonUWB Forum"While trade events continue to evolve, one thing is still quite clear: it's people who actually define, invent, develop, produce, market, sell and support products. The WiCon series of events provides our current and future members a common meeting place to efficiently maintain and build friendships, partnerships and business relations. The event is targeted yet broad - it is all things in the personal wireless market. Join us for this important event."
Mike McCamon, Executive Director, UWB Forum

Zigbee Alliance"Wireless Connectivity Americas provides the global showcase for innovative wireless products and technology. Product manufacturers, OEMs, and developers will benefit greatly from the wide range of WPAN devices on display. Building on the increasing demand for low power wireless sensor solutions for industrial, commercial, and residential applications, WiCon exposes attendees to a wide range of interoperable, standards based products"
Bob Heile, Chairman, ZigBee Alliance

WiMAX Forum"The series of Wireless Connectivity shows are unique as they are the only forum where all the key wireless technologies are showcased in one place at the same time. The WiMAX Forum formed to promote and certify compatibility and interoperability of broadband wireless products fully endorses these important events and urges you to join us and our members, as we progress the spirit of collaboration"
Mohammad Shakouri, Board Member, WiMAX Forum
